Maybe you missed the Olympics in China last year, but it is never too late to visit the country. You can make the most of your visit by choosing a cruise on the Yangtze River.
The cruise ship is a luxury one – Victoria Queen and she will take you through gorges, forests and mountains. You will see the most impressive project ever built by man – The Three Gorges Dam. The gorges you will pass through are: The Dragon Gate, Misty Gorge, Emerald Gorge Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge.
The package also includes day trips to the Ghost City where you will be amazed by the scenery and its temples. Depending on river conditions, you may also visit Shibaozhai, a pavilion built from wood but without a single nail, a masterpiece of Chinese architecture.
Onboard you will enjoy a banquet with Chinese culinary delicacies, a cocktail party, Tai Chi lessons, calligraphy demonstrations and more.
The cruise lasts for 5 days and costs £325pp.

China is a beautiful country. I have been there in 2005 with my family and we enjoyed it a lot. We travelled by train mainly. Never considered cruising in China but it is never to late for holiday plans, is it?
