Travelling to Vietnam, Hanoi is the place you want to go to. This is the a very beautiful place and very popular. The reason why it is so popular is because it is the capital city of Vietnam. One reason why people travel here is because the city is somewhat slow moving. Everything here does not move at the lighting quick pace of places like Tokyo and New York. Of course, there is a lot to do here than just take in the great city life.

One common thing that people like to do in Hanoi is go to Hoan Kiem Lake. People come from all over the world to see this lake, because it is inhabited by a very rare breed of turtles. Of course, this is not the only lake in Hanoi. You can also go to West Lake and the Downed B-52.

After spending a day at the lake, you may want to spend the next day hitting up some of their local shops. Hanoi has some of the best shopping you are going to find in Vietnam. In fact, their main market is a place where 40 streets are packed with shops that sell pretty much everything that you are looking for. There are also a number of great cafes and restaurants to eat at as well. From there you can go check out the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. This is a museum that is, by far, the most popular museum for tourists to visit. People come from all over to check out this one of a kind museum.
