Just off of S. Carolina’s Atlantic Coast lies the Hilton Head Island. It’s a famous island because of its beautiful unspoiled beaches, lots of golf courses, tennis facilities and beautiful environment where you see pine forests, salt marshes, seascapes, and lagoons, moss draped oaks and a lot more.

The Hilton Head Island is a popular tourist destination which gets about 2.5 million visitors each year! It’s such a great place to visit especially if you want to enjoy nature in its purest form. They try to keep everything as clean and contained as possible and they continue to follow the standards set by Charles Fraser in 1956 which makes this island the first eco-planned resort in the USA.

Make sure to stop by at the island’s Welcome Center. As its name suggests, it’s a place where travellers are welcome and here they get to learn about the island and what activities to expect during their stay.

The beaches in Hilton Head Island are just beautiful. The sand is not white though but the water is definitely amazing. The beaches are not open for the entire duration of the year, they are opens from the 1st of April to the 30th of September so it’s best to come and have a vacation here in between those dates.
