The budget travellers and those who want to get a cheap holiday without breaking the bank are happy when different web sites do their best to offer the best possible deals. These websites fight against their competitors in order to offer the best price and from this fight the traveller – their customer – can only benefit.
What travellers may find useful on these sites are the guides they provide for various destinations: short descriptions and highlights of the main attraction in a particular place. They open your appetite for travel and make you want to see the place.
The guides for city breaks will help you choose the destination for your short stay, while the travel guides will give you information about different countries you want to consider for your holidays (when to go, what to see, where to eat etc.).
To sample a really cheap holiday, we randomly selected Morocco as our holiday destination, then selected flights for 2 adults and a B&B hotel for 7 nights. The search engine served us a holiday with a really low price: £547.69 for 2 people (flights and hotel included).
The second destination we searched for was Amsterdam. The search results found return flights London-Amsterdam for £72 per person but the accommodation suggested was one 5-star hotel – Okura Hotel – with prices exceeding £1,700. Travelling Cheap will kindly decline this offer and choose Morocco this season.
