Egypt – exotic destination with cheap accommodation

Egypt is the land of sand, pyramids, camel riding and almost anything that you will look for in a memorable and exotic destination. For some travellers, Egypt is a little bit intimidating because of the disparity of culture, the heat and the travel requirements.

But cultural difference, natural conditions and paper works are just a normal part of an exotic destination. You should brave these things or complete these requirements if you want to enjoy Egypt.

On the other hand, why push yourself to Egypt? There’s actually a good reason for that. In this place, your hard earned dollar or euro will go a very long way.

The accommodations in Egypt are probably one of the most affordable and luxurious in the Middle East. A four-star hotel will typically charge you at an average of $60 a night and it might even come with a complimentary breakfast. A hostel starts from EUR 1.89.

Travelling around the country is also a breeze. The best way to travel in this country is through a train and you don’t have to force yourself in crowded economy seats. In Egypt, a first class train from one major city to another will just cost you at an average of $20.

Of course you want to visit the pyramids. But that will not place a hole in your pocket either. The great pyramids will only cost you to a maximum of $13.00. The museums in Egypt will even cost you less as the fee for the famed Nubia Museum will just cost you $4.00. Other meals and snacks for the day will never get you to spend past $10.00.

  1. Quite often I pay a visit to this place, it is one of my favorites, no matter if I am going on my own or with my friends and family. Ordinarily I reside at the same housing, which is fine and clean. Nice spot for activity and shopping.
