Lake District is probably one of the least appreciated national parks in Europe. Although there are tourists coming to Lake District from different parts of the country and even tourists from different European countries, they will come and go without having really enjoying the best of Lake District.
Don’t experience what they have experienced by following these tips:
Don’t stay there for a day or twoand a day or two in Lake District is almost unfair for the national park. There are so many things to do and places to visit in Lake District that if you really want to know more about it, you need to stay at least five days to enjoy them all.
Go deep into the park and the national park may have hotels that will provide you with the stunning view of Lake District but that is all they have to give. Don’t be limited by the convenience offered by these hotels, go a little bit deeper to the woods and experience the woods without having to sacrifice the scenic view of Lake District.
Get more outdoor adventures the name Lake District should never limit your adventure to the waters. The hills of Lake District are best for hiking and you can even get up close to the animals in South Lakes Wild Animal Park. If you don’t know it yet, Lake District is also the home of the largest pencil in the world.
Get more out of the water and kayaking and visiting the watershed are the additional activities you could do in the water.
So get your bags and prepare for a weeklong adventure in Lake District. Don’t worry about the price as Lake District is always competitive when it comes to rates. If you go deep into the woods, you don’t have to spend a lot in lodging.
