Travelling Cheap

There is only one thing I like better than an extremely cheap stay in a hotel, and that is an extremely cheap stay in a good quality hotel. Skimming through lowcostbeds.com I went straight to their deals page and their last minute deals for £9.

To me that sounded too good to be true and I assumed that the hotels would not be top notch. To my further surprise it is a 3 star establishment listed there. So my paranoid nature made me search the listing for hidden extras but there are none, except what you would expect from any hotel. Any cheap traveler with a bit of experience knows the phrase, “Stay away from the mini bar”. Apart from that and the telephone, it still seemed to be £9….

So in the ultimate test I did a pretend booking for 2 for 7 nights leaving next week. At last a surprise! The surprise was that the total came to £10 less than the advertisement. So I assumed there would at least be some hidden VAT somewhere, but after moving on to the last page the final price remained the same.

Posts on hotels are honest and there is no word trickery; after all if your customers get what they asked for they will come back for more.

Customer care seems to be high on their priority list as before your final booking the site helps with transfer from the airport and there you can contact the hotel you want to book at with requests before your arrival.

The hotels it features are really really cheap, good quality and the variety is amazing.

In short it makes finding and booking a holiday easy and quick.
